Women's and Men's Bandy EuroHockey Championship Qualifier

The EuroHockey Championship Qualifier II tournament brings European national teams to Helsinki to compete for places in higher divisions. The tournaments are held at the Velodrome hockey stadium in Käpylä sports park on 9-12 July 2026, 9.00-19.00. Tickets 10 €.

In the women's tournament, Finland faces Gibraltar, Luxembourg and Hungary. In the men's tournament, the opponents are Lithuania, Malta, Gibraltar, Luxembourg, Greece and Hungary. Both tournaments feature a group stage and placement matches where final standings are determined.

The EuroHockey competition system is divided into several division levels (Championship I, II and III), where teams can rise or fall based on their results. The top teams from the Qualifier II tournament advance to a higher European championship level.
