Excursion to Aino Ackté's Villa

This guided tour takes you to Aino Ackté's restored villa in Laajasalo, within Tullisaarenpuisto park in Helsinki. The villa was designed by Theodor Decker and completed in 1877. The world-renowned Finnish soprano Aino Ackté purchased it as a summer residence in 1904 and used it until her death in 1944. Today the building serves as a city-owned cultural venue.
