Architecture Walk: Modern Helsinki

The "Modern Helsinki" architecture walk examines the aesthetics, materials, and social conditions that shaped the development of modern architecture in Helsinki from the 1930s to 2018. The route takes you through office buildings, department stores, educational buildings, and other public structures in the city centre.

The walks are written by experts from the Museum of Architecture and Design and led by museum guides who are well-versed in the themes of the tours. The tours are part of the museum's open architecture walk programme for summer 2026.

Price: 15 € / person, duration 90 min. A place must be reserved separately for each tour through the event platform - the ticket is paid in advance in the online shop and registration is binding. Show the booking confirmation you received by email to the guide before the tour begins.
