"Guys get oppressed on life's road, but sister just sweeps on."
Columnist Bibinette, 96 magazine (the era's only queer publication in Finland), 1970.
The live-action roleplay work "Sisters" will premiere during Helsinki Pride week at the Central Library Oodi as part of Helsinki Pride's official programme! Registration is now open!
"Sisters" is a live-action roleplay work about feminine gay men who lived in Helsinki in the 1960s. It is a true story of dreams, friendship, survival, and self-acceptance.
The work will have two performances: one open to everyone and one intended for men and non-binary people raised as men. We want to offer a safe space for men and non-binary people raised as men to explore femininity through the work.
