The team enters the season with confidence and aims to challenge upcoming opponents with the goal of promotion to Superpesis. Puna-Mustat's roster includes Juha Puhtimäki, named pesäpallo player of the year and last year's catcher of the year. Puna-Mustat is a pesäpallo club founded in 1941.
