Tampere's second Torisitsit takes place on 8.8.2026! Welcome to an unforgettable summer evening at Tampere's Torisitsit - where the Central Square fills with participants and passersby get to see the best of student culture.

Torisitsit showcases vibrant student culture on Tampere's Central Square. Students from various disciplines at Tampere University and the university of applied sciences gather for a traditional student sit-down feast - everyone from first-year students to third-year students and alumni are welcome. Last year tickets sold out fast, so make sure to secure your spot to celebrate the community spirit of higher education students!

When purchasing a ticket, you must select a ticket type. The large seating area is divided into smaller sectors, each corresponding to a ticket type. The sectors are named after Tampere's neighborhoods. If you want to sit with a friend or group of friends at the same table, you must choose the same sector. There is no assigned seating at Torisitsit. Participants in each sector fill the seats as they see fit. Sector selection cannot be changed later, and you cannot switch sectors on your own during the event. This way we ensure together that everyone gets their preferred seating.

There are also sectors for alumni and international participants. However, you can choose any sector regardless of your background!

Rauhaniemi: Quieter sector, located at the edge of the area

The ticket includes a seat at the dining tables, a program, and an overall badge. Registered participants will receive additional information via email later. We will update information about the event's continuation at a later date.

It is possible to participate in the event using, for example, a wheelchair - please inform us of this when purchasing your ticket. If you need special arrangements related to accessibility, please notify the organizers in advance through the ticket purchase form.
