For the first time in Joensuu: Comedy Mayhem hosts a roast battle evening on Friday 26.6.2026. ✨🎤😈

Roast battle is a form of stand-up comedy where two comedians take turns hurling sharp roasts at each other in front of the audience. The comedians first perform their own sets, after which the paired duels begin. The goal is not to actually argue - it's sharp, good-natured comedy where nothing is spared. Throughout the evening, old grudges, personality differences, and embarrassing character traits are dug up.

The audience plays an active role: spectators react to hits and ultimately decide who wins the 200 euro prize.

The club is located in the basement of restaurant Mayhem (Koskikatu 5, 80100 Joensuu), in a lounge-style space that is converted into a viewing room for a maximum of 80 people. The upstairs bar serves throughout the evening. Note: the venue is not wheelchair accessible.

⏰ Upstairs open at 18:00, doors to basement at 18:30, show starts at 19:00. The evening lasts approximately 2 hours and includes a break. Age limit K18.

When you arrive, show your purchase receipt in the basement - separate tickets are not sent. Roast battle deliberately stretches the boundaries of good taste with the participants' mutual consent; the evening may not be suitable for more sensitive ears.
