Glorian sisäpiha live: Jore Marjaranta

Jore Marjaranta performs with his acoustic guitar on the Gloria courtyard. The concert lasts 75 minutes and tickets are sold at the door for 15 €.

Jore started his solo career in 2000 and has released seven albums. Well-known songs include Haaveet kaatuu (from the film Pahat Pojat), Miten pelko lähtee (from the film Minä ja Morrison), Niin kaunis on Helsinki nyt, Tiedän rakkaus elää, Tavallista elämää, Kävelet tähtiin päin and Huomaan vain sinut. At his concerts, he shares stories from his career and explains the background of his songs - the programme features both his own compositions and music from Leningrad Cowboys, Guitar Slingers and Albert Järvinen Band.

Jore became known in the early 1990s as a member of Leningrad Cowboys. The band performed at, among other venues, the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony in New York in 1994 and at Senate Square with the Red Army Choir in 1993.

Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible, and an assistant receives free entry with the assisted person's ticket. An accessible toilet is available.
