Jore Marjaranta started his solo career in 2000 and has released 7 albums. He has many well-known songs, including "Haaveet kaatuu" from the film Pahat Pojat, "Miten pelko lähtee" from Minä ja Morrison, "Niin kaunis on Helsinki nyt", "Tiedän rakkaus elää", "Tavallista elämää", "Kävelet tähtiin päin" and "Huomaan vain sinut".

Jore became known in the early 1990s as a member of the band Leningrad Cowboys, with which he toured the world and performed at, among other places, the MTV Video Music Awards in 1994 in New York and at Senaatintori in Helsinki with the Red Army Choir in 1993. At his concerts, Jore performs alone with his acoustic guitar, telling stories from his career and explaining the meaning of his songs. In addition to Jore's own songs, the audience will hear music from Leningrad Cowboys, Guitar Slingers and Albert Järvinen Band. Jore also participated in the programme "Elämäni biisi".
