The People's Rumour Mill

The People's Rumour Mill is a tragicomic play in which ordinary Finnish everyday life takes the stage. At the heart of the story are Heikki and Kaija, whose lives are constantly disrupted by their neighbour Mähönen - tensions rise and drama is unavoidable.

The play addresses social grievances and everyday pain points that are widely discussed among ordinary people. The script is written by Ville Virkkunen, Tero Tiittanen and Johanna Ruonala.
