Saha's new album Öitä was released on 31 January 2025. The album is produced by Julius Maurasen (including Oranssi Pazuzu, Viitasen Piia) and is Saha's fifth solo release. Saha describes the album's creation: "Öitä is an album that had to be made at least twice. At the start of the album work, I imposed restrictions on myself regarding songwriting, so I wouldn't get stuck repeating myself. Certain minor keys were banned, along with individual words like 'dark' and 'dusk'. I actually wrote a whole album of pleasant and bright American-influenced music, until darkness started seeping in through doors and windows. I threw the finished songs in the trash and decided to clear the ban by making an album where every song tells about one thing and one thing only - the night. About private and shared dusk. About worn-out roads and rogues. About falling and rising. And of course about love and longing."
