Downtown Calling 2026

Downtown Calling is back! In July, this major alternative music festival takes place at Nordis in the area around Helsinki Ice Hall. Over two days, July 10-11, Finland's leading indie and alternative bands perform alongside a large number of underground and hip-hop artists. Nearly 30 artists in total are featured, including several international guests.

One of the highlights is Pyhimys' return to major stages at Downtown Calling. He last performed as a solo artist four years ago in a sold-out Helsinki Ice Hall. At Downtown Calling, Pyhimys will present his only summer festival show with all his hit songs, and new music from him is expected in spring 2026.

Downtown Calling was last held in 2022-2023 at the Museum of Technology and its surroundings. However, that area is undergoing renovation, so Nordis was chosen as the new festival venue.
