Pyry Laakso

Originally from Pirkanmaa, Pyry Laakso now lives in Helsinki. He has honed his voice as a soloist in metal bands (including Mekanism) and through classical singing lessons. Years spent in English-language rock music provided a foundation, but Finnish pop ultimately found his more authentic core.

Laakso has released several singles throughout his career. His latest, "Sydän on tyhjillään" from last year, has accumulated over 80,000 streams on Spotify. On TikTok, the artist has reached hundreds of thousands of views and over 19,000 followers within a year.
