Kuopio Dances and Sings is a Nordic dance festival featuring both international and domestic guest performances as well as presentations by students and enthusiasts in the field. Over a hundred events are offered throughout the week: dance performances, courses, seminars, and more.

The 2026 festival welcomes GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, bringing four works to Kuopio from international choreographers: Sharon Eyal, Hofesh Shechter, Marcos Morau, and Botis Seva.
