Kuopio Dances and Sings

Northern Europe's largest and most diverse dance festival features both international and Finnish dance performances, as well as presentations by dance students and enthusiasts. Over a hundred events take place during the festival week: dance performances, courses, seminars, and other activities. The 2026 festival welcomes one of Europe's leading contemporary dance companies: GöteborgsOperans Danskompani. The company presents four works by world-renowned choreographers: Sharon Eyal, Hofesh Shechter, Marcos Morau, and Botis Seva.
