Rainbow Reading Circle

The Rainbow Reading Circle takes place on Friday during Pride Week, 26.6. from 15:00 to 16:30 on the Minna Canth mat at Oodi library (3rd floor). The event is part of Helsinki Pride's official programme calendar and is organized by Kaareva Oy - a language studio and publishing house dedicated to publishing minority literature and increasing its visibility.

The book for discussion is Heidi Airaksinen's novel Vierge Moderne (2021), which explores rainbow themes. Airaksinen herself participates in the event and discusses her work.

Everyone interested is welcome to attend - you can come prepared for the discussion, share your own book recommendations, or simply spend Pride Week in the company of others.
