Mölkky World Championships 2026

The Mölkky World Championships are open to everyone regardless of age, gender, or playing experience. The tournament brings together over 1,500 players from more than 20 countries - including teams from Japan, France, and the USA.

The championships are being held for the 21st time on the cricket field at Käpylä Sports Park on August 14-16, 2026. Over 100 Mölkky courts will be set up on the field for the tournament. Sports clubs, workplace teams, family teams, and groups of friends can all participate - anyone can form a 4-person team and register.

Provisional schedule:
Friday (morning/day): group matches for all teams
Friday evening: Nations Cup
Saturday: group matches and possible knockout rounds
Sunday: knockout rounds and finals (A and B cup)

The tournament is played in four-person format, meaning 4 players from each team participate in one match. Teams with more than four players can rotate their players in later matches.

The participation fee is 120 € per team. NOTE! Places are limited and registration closes as soon as the tournament is full, possibly even before the official registration deadline of July 26, 2026.
