Jukka Poika

Finland's reggae pioneer Jukka Poika returned from a break in spring and released his first studio album in ten years, Comeback, in April. According to Jukka Poika's own description, the album is "Finnish reggae in 2026" - a familiar sound with modern elements and international touches.

"The album has songs about being with yourself and with others, and a few lines about being a society. Sometimes a song starts from an idea, but often I let the rhymes take me to places I wouldn't otherwise explore", Jukka Poika explains. The album was produced together with Victor Nordik, known for his work with Sexmane, JVG and Ege Zulu.

The concert will feature new material alongside Jukka Poika's well-known hits such as From Cold to Warm, Silky and Don't Give Up Now.

The ticket price includes a 3 € service fee. Student tickets require a student ID or other proof of student status. An assistant gets free entry with the assisted person's ticket. The event is wheelchair accessible, and there is an accessible toilet - no wheelchair lift. More detailed accessibility information can be found on G Livelab's website.
