A musical tragedy based on William Shakespeare's classic play, where the music ranges from dark viola melodies to razor-sharp guitar solos. A live band accompanies the performance, and tragedy walks hand in hand with comedy.

War hero Macbeth meets three witches whose prophecies drive him and Lady Macbeth to unforgivable deeds - which they nonetheless forgive each other for. Upon seizing power, the paranoid Macbeth sees enemies everywhere, and perhaps with reason: in the Scottish realm ruled by a mentally unstable tyrant, unrest simmers. The witches walk among the people and hasten the story toward its brutal end.

The estimated duration of the performance is 2 hours 40 minutes including intermission.
