Autumn Season Opening Concert - Encore?

Kasmir Uusitupa's opening concert as the new artistic director of the Central Ostrobothnia Chamber Orchestra takes place at Snellman Hall in Kokkola on Friday, 11 September 2026 at 19:00. This concert is one of four performances Uusitupa will give in Kokkola during autumn and winter. Snellman Hall, the ceremonial hall of the city building, is known for its distinguished interior and excellent acoustics. The programme features a work by Leevi Räsänen, Debussy's song cycle Ariettes oubliées performed by soprano Mari Palo, and Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings. Admission costs 5-70 euros.
