Natural Forces II - The Trees Speak Exhibition

Natural Forces II - The Trees Speak is a group exhibition by seven contemporary artists exploring trees and the moments spent in their presence - listening, respect, and the quiet presence associated with trees. The exhibition is curated by visual artist Eija Keskinen, and features Pirjetta Brander, Marko Hämäläinen, Inka-Maaria Jurvanen, Sakari Kannosto, Eija Keskinen, Janne Laine, and Mikko Rantanen.

The works address boundary states, evening fading into night, the glow of dawn, and transformation - as well as how the unconscious shapes what we perceive. The opening is on 18.6. from 13-15, with free admission. Keuruu Museum's new premises open to the public with the summer exhibition on 23.6.

The exhibition is distributed across multiple locations: in addition to Keuruu Museum, also at Keuruu Local History Museum, the library, the old church and its churchyard, and the gallery hall of Lehtiniemi service centre. The different venues have different opening hours, and admission to Keuruu Museum covers only the museum's own exhibition collection. Keuruu Local History Museum has its own ticket sales; entry to the old church requires a church fee of 4 €/person, free for those under 18.
