Burlesque Workshops - Passion and Pleasure

Members of Jyväskylä Burlesque rf receive a 5 € discount per workshop (does not apply to Bettie's private lessons). Invoice or payment instructions will be sent by email approximately one week before the event. Registration is binding - cancellations are accepted only with a doctor's certificate. Workshops will be held if there are enough participants.

11:00-12:00 | Miss Acrolicious: Floorwork special - shoulder roll | 25 €

The workshop focuses on the shoulder roll - a beloved movement with many names. First, the body is warmed up and stretched, then the basic version of the movement and several variations are covered. Additionally, other basic floorwork tools are practiced, such as descents and ascents.

Equipment: stretchy athletic wear, preferably also a long-sleeved shirt, wool socks, water bottle, small towel, and your own yoga or fitness mat. Note: not all movements can be adapted, so serious joint or back problems should be considered when registering. Some movements have alternatives, so minor issues are not a problem.

12:15-13:45 | Pepper Sparkles: Snake Goddess - Tribal Fusion belly dance | 25 €

Pepper introduces Tribal Fusion belly dance, where the soft and serpentine movements of belly dance are combined with the angular accents of urban styles. Over 90 minutes, participants learn basic movements and practice several sequences that combine what they have learned.

Equipment: comfortable clothes in which you can move freely. Clothing that does not restrict hip movement is recommended.
