City of Light 2026

City of Light is held in Jyväskylä for the twentieth time as a nine-day festival from Friday 25.9 to Saturday 3.10.2026. Light artworks are displayed on weekends from 20:00 to 00:00 and on weekdays from 20:00 to 22:00 - a detailed programme will be published later.

Street Food markets will be set up on the pedestrian street and in the Southwest Park. The festival also features light-themed programming throughout the entire period; additional events can be found under "Linked events".
