Vaiston varassa, ajan kanssa – Joakim Sederholm — Tarvaala

In summer 2026, Finnish sculptor Joakim Sederholm from Porvoo (born 1969) is the featured artist at Tapperien Juhola's barn gallery in Jarskis. His works explore human existence and experiences of difference and belonging. He works with wood, ceramics, metal, bronze, and combinations of these materials.

Sederholm was a student and assistant to academician Kain Tapperi (1930-2004) and participated in several of his public works and exhibitions. His expertise is still needed when any of the master's sculptures require restoration. In Jarskis, Sederholm was first seen at the gallery's opening exhibition in 1999 - "Liitoksia ja sortumia" - alongside four other Tapperi students, and he was also the summer artist at Juhola in 2005. Tapperien Art Society honored him with their medal during the 30-year anniversary in 2023.

Admission: adults (15+) 10 €, pensioners 5 €, children (4-14) 5 €, under 4 free.
