Virve Rosti, Freeman and Prisoners of the Past

Virve Rosti, Freeman and Prisoners of the Past perform at Tavara Station on Saturday 22.8. The concert is a standing event with very limited seating.

The band Prisoners of the Past was founded in 1991 when Virve Rosti and Freeman met by chance and decided to join forces - in 2026 the band thus celebrates its 35th anniversary. Virve "Vicky" Rosti became popular as a high school student in 1974 when she won the Finnish Iskelmälaulumestaruus competition; her hits include, among others, Kun Chicago kuoli, Oon voimissain, Sata salamaa and Tuolta saapuu Charlie Brown. Leo "Freeman" Friman is the man behind hits such as Ajetaan tandemilla, Kaksi lensi yli käenpesän and Osuuskaupan Jane, and Freeman, who turns 75 this year, is also known from the band Uusi Fantasia and its hit Liian myöhään.

The concert ticket includes access to the evening's disco event Diskoteekki Purkkaa ja jytää. Entrance service is included in the ticket price. The ticket price rises to 40 euros at Tiketissä on the event day when doors open, and sales continue in the online shop after doors close as long as tickets are available.
