The World's Richest Woman

Marianne Farrere is the world's richest woman - heiress to a cosmetics empire for whom money has lost all meaning. When a vain fortune-hunter, Pierre-Alain (Laurent Lafitte), enters her life, their acquaintance becomes a platonic romance and millions begin to flow.

Her daughter (Marina Foïs) attempts, with the help of lawyers and a butler, to keep the seducer away from her mother's bank account - without success. The story is based on the scandal surrounding Liliane Bettencourt. Laurent Lafitte was awarded the César Prize for Best Actor for his role, and the lead is played by Isabelle Huppert.
