The 27th summer exhibition of art institution Haihatus, titled Rihmasto, is on display in the renovated courtyard complex in Joutsa from 19.6 to 30.8.2026. The exhibition features twenty Finnish artists and artist groups who approach the Rihmasto theme from different perspectives.

Works are spread across the gallery building, garden, and outbuildings, forming a route visitors can walk at their own pace. The exhibition includes installations, sculptures, and participatory works - some of which develop and change during the exhibition through interaction with the audience, nature, and environment. Alongside ITE artworks in the garden area, the exhibition also features a work from the international Art Without Transportation project: a sculpture by Canadian artist Jude Griebel, executed as local craftsmanship.

In connection with the exhibition, visitors can enjoy a vegan summer café, explore the museum shop's sales display, and stay overnight in Art Camping in a hammock or tent. Throughout the summer, workshops (including collage, spray painting, philosophy), guided tours, and concerts are held - workshop participation is included in the exhibition ticket price.

The exhibition is open Tue-Sun 11-18. Tickets: regular ticket 17 €, discount (students, pensioners, unemployed, assistants) 12 €, children 7-15 years 7 €, family ticket (2 adults + 2 children 7-15 years) 38 €, additional child 5 €.
