Poptennis 2026

On Saturday 22.8., the first Poptennis tournament takes place at Pyynikin tennis courts in Tampere, where 16 well-known figures from the pop music world compete against each other. The tournament starts at 10.00 and concludes with the final beginning at 14.00. There is one category open to all genders.

Confirmed players include guitarist Timo Kämäräinen, multi-instrumentalist Jimi Tenor, Allu Ripatti from Ursus Factory, and Jiri-serkku, known for the hit "Tennis Roll". The remaining players will be announced later, and the tournament format and match schedule will be revealed in August 2026.

Poptennis 2026 is held as part of the Festivaali festival and serves as the Saturday evening entertainment for the event.
