Adult Craft Circle

The craft circle at Tapanila Library introduces adults to various craft and handicraft techniques - felting, embroidery, textile painting, and upcycling. The circle seeks sustainable ways to refresh and reuse existing materials while extending the lifespan of items. Tea is also served at meetings.

We make reflectors using different techniques to prepare for autumn. You can bring old reflectors, reflective thread, or similar materials.

We explore the basics of needle felting. You can bring an old wool garment to upcycle or your own work in progress. The library provides tools for experimentation.

We make Christmas decorations, gift boxes, and greeting cards from old books.
