This workshop covers how job searching works in practice and where to find open positions. The goal is to give you a clear overview of the job search process and concrete ways to make your own search more effective.
The content covers the main job search channels, creating job alerts and job seeker profiles, and using the Labour Market Portal. The workshop is especially suitable if you don't know where to start or want to clarify your search strategy.
Bring your bank credentials to log into the Labour Market Portal - email addresses and passwords may also be useful. Computers are available for loan during the workshop, but you can also bring your own.
Participation requirements: advance registration (registration form), being a Helsinki resident, sufficient Finnish language skills without an interpreter, and basic computer skills for independent computer use. More information about the service can be found in the Service Manual.
