Ghosts of the Park Streets

The Helsinki City Museum's guides lead you on a ghost walk through the city's most mysterious stories. Along the route, we visit the eerie attic of the city's oldest stone building, the ghost of Plague Park, the spirit of restaurant Kappeli, and the restless soul of the Alexander Theatre - as well as how these tales have been passed down from one Helsinkian to another over the decades.

The walk begins at the City Museum's foyer (Aleksanterinkatu 16), continues along Esplanade and Boulevard, and ends at Home Hotel Jugend (Lönnrotinkatu 29). Duration is at most 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, register at the museum's information desk before the walk begins.

There is no official age limit, but even the youngest participants are expected to be over 10 years old. Tickets (13 €) should be purchased in advance, as the walks often fill up quickly.
