Screening Night Hog members are known from several bands and projects - including Warmath, Rakkauden Ammattilaiset, Brandy Rockers, Lohkare, and Grand Merlin. The band draws strongly on American roots music, and their shows have featured songs from The Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. The lineup has solidified as Antero Jokinen (vocals, tambourine), Jari "OG" Ollikainen (guitar), Mika Laine (bass), Jarmo Huovinen (keyboards), and Jukka Väänänen (drums).

The band has been performing for over 20 years, though quite rarely in recent times - each member's numerous other projects keep the calendar full. Screaming Night Hog's concert on August 28 at Sawohouse is therefore a rare opportunity.

The event takes place at Sawohouse Garden Live, the inner courtyard of Sawohouse. Weather permitting, the concert can be moved indoors to Underground if needed.

Event tickets also function as travel passes on buses operated by Vilkku, the public transport service in the Kuopio region. Travel rights activate on the event day 3 hours before doors open and remain valid for 6 hours after opening. The ticket is valid in any format - PDF, mobile, or paper - and includes the option to transfer between buses.
