Larry Peninsula 40 Years - Country Music Only

Larry Peninsula celebrates his 40th birthday and country music career on the Semifinal stage on 22.8.2026. The band features Timo Kanerva (bass), Ari Hujanen (drums) and Jussi Salminen (pedal steel). Guest artists taking the stage include Janne Kaunisto, Topi Suuronen & Rodeo, Werewolves of Helsinki, Mika Järvinen and The Finnish Highwaymen. A documentary about Larry is also being filmed during the event.

Larry Peninsula is a country artist from Oulu now based in Helsinki. He was awarded "Rising Star of the Year" in October 2025 at the Texas Sounds International Country Music Awards in the USA. His international career has taken him to the USA, Germany, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden and the Canary Islands in addition to Finland. Larry has performed with Mikko Alatalon, Jussi Syren & The Groundreabersin, Jussi Raittinen and Marko Haavisto, and warmed up for Grammy winner Redd Volkaert, Drake Milligan and Ward Hayden & The Outliers. He is currently working on his second album with producer Tom Frisk; the album will be released in late 2026.
