Why Rats?

This lecture explores the success of rats both globally and in contemporary Helsinki. Research findings are presented on how rats move through urban environments and why their populations vary across different areas - and what this persistent neighbor's behavior tells us about ourselves.

The lecturer is Santtu Pentikäinen, a biologist with an M.Sc. The lecture lasts approximately 60 minutes, followed by time for discussion. The discussion is led by Taru Honkanen, community producer at Kanneltalo.
