Himos Epic MTB - 10th Anniversary (7.-8.8.2026)

Himos Epic MTB is not a traditional marathon race but an event run in special-test format: time is recorded only on terrain tests (segments), and transitions between tests are ridden at your own pace. Riders start in groups of no more than six, so there is no congestion. Routes are not published in full in advance.

Two distances are available. On the full distance (Friday-Saturday) approximately 15 terrain tests are ridden - some on Friday evening and at night with headlamps. The half distance (Saturday) covers the Saturday sections as a one-day package.

Along the route, riders also compete in special categories: the Climb King is decided over 3-4 uphill segments (elevation gain 80-100 m) and the Descent Baron over 3-4 technical downhill sections. The competition day concludes with a shared meal, prize presentation, and After Party at Himos.

The event is organized by Cycle Club Ilves ry. Price 30-120 €.
