Multilingual Theatre

This course introduces you to the world of theatre and performance - no acting experience is needed, just interest.

The course spans two semesters: in autumn you will learn the fundamentals of acting through exercises, games and play, in spring you will rehearse a small production. Autumn sessions meet on Mondays from 7.9 to 30.11, except during the autumn break on 12.10. The two weekly rehearsals in spring will be scheduled in more detail during autumn.

The course covers performance skills, self-expression, voice use and basic acting concepts. The teaching languages are Finnish and body language. English serves as a supporting language; the instructor also speaks some German, some Russian and a few phrases in Malay.
