Open Writers' Meetup, Kampin Service Centre

At the open writers' meetup, participants write, read texts aloud, and share encouraging feedback. In the workshop, you'll get support and ideas for your writing hobby and practice turning observations and feelings into text - mini-stories, poems, narratives.

Topics vary: sometimes you write haiku, sometimes you slow down your thoughts to the movement of the pen and write with an emphasis on physical experience. The writing theme might focus on something tangible, like a branch, a stone, or an object. Writing on paper with a pen is recommended, but you can also use your own computer or tablet.

You're welcome to bring one short text to read aloud, but the main focus is on shared writing exercises. You can participate as many times as you like.

No advance registration or course fee required. The instructor is FM Teemu Korpijärvi. Bring a notebook, journal, or paper and pen. The event is organized in collaboration with Kampin Service Centre.
