Afternoon Gathering in the Drawing Salon | Watercolour

In a guided drawing salon, you create images in the spirit of Tove Jansson and the Moomin stories - over coffee or tea, alone or with a friend. During summer 2026, the technique is watercolour combined with ink drawing: Jansson created the cover illustrations for the Moomin books using watercolour and gouache, then brought them to life with ink.

The workshop runs every other Saturday between 11.7-17.10.2026 (11.7. / 25.7. / 8.8. / 22.8. / 5.9. / 19.9. / 3.10. / 17.10.) from 15.00 to 17.00. The price is 49 €, including materials, instruction, and museum admission - you can explore the exhibition before the workshop starts using just your workshop ticket. You take home the image you create and a passepartout board for framing.

The workshop suits creators of all levels, from adults to young people and from beginners to advanced. Places are reserved through the museum's event platform and tickets are paid in advance through the online shop - registration is binding. You can buy a ticket for yourself or as a gift.

The workshops are conducted in English.
