Suosymposium - Art Perspectives on Changing Environments

Suosymposium is an open event for everyone exploring environmental art, changing landscapes, and the future of former peatland production areas. The focus is on how art can create new meanings and possibilities in environments that have undergone significant transformations.

The programme features expert discussions, artistic content, and presentations of experiences and working methods developed through the project. Participants will also learn about the activities of Taidelaitos Haihatus and its artist residency programme.

The symposium is organized as part of a development project by Humanistinen ammattikorkeakoulu (Humak), where professionals in art, cultural production, and environmental sectors collaborate to find new perspectives on environmental change and its artistic treatment.
