Cultural Corner: The Unphotographed Suburb

Tapio Juutinen, a researcher at the Helsinki City Museum, examines Helsinki's suburbs through photographs that never made it into the "Unknown Suburb" exhibition. The lecture explores how everyday life, quiet moments, and difficult-to-photograph environments often fall outside the visual narrative - and how a photographer's choices shape our understanding of suburbs.
