Author Talk: Severi Hämäri

Philosophy practitioner, non-fiction author, and lecturer Severi Hämäri presents his new work "12 Philosophers - Great Insights from Ancient Thinkers" (Aviador, 2026).

The book places Greek, Roman, Indian, and Chinese philosophy within the culture and history of their times. According to Hämäri, without these thinkers we would not have the modern world, its societies, or its science. Hämäri's lectures on the history of philosophy have drawn full audiences at the Helsinki Workers' Institute since spring 2025.
