POC Reading Circle Book Picnic

The POC Reading Circle organizes a book picnic on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Entressen Library. The event features book recommendations and a shared summer reading experience.

The picnic brings together works by POC authors (People of Color - Black and Brown people) for children, teenagers, and adults. Books can be read on-site or borrowed home with a library card. Light refreshments will also be served.

The event is free and open to everyone. In case of rain, it will move indoors to the Jukebox Hall inside the library.

The POC Reading Circle aims to highlight works by POC authors and promote more diverse representation in literature.
