East Helsinki in Knit

Knitwear designer Jenny Ansah presents her recently published work "East Helsinki in Knit": the origins of the knitting patterns and the stories behind them. The collection of 15 urban knitting projects draws inspiration from the distinctive features of East Helsinki's neighbourhoods, and includes Ansah's own personal memories from these areas.

After the book presentation, we knit together. Bring your own work in progress - admission is free.

The event is part of the programme for the exhibition "The Unknown Neighbourhood".
