TaYT Summer Gallery 2.8. at 18:00

TaYT Summer Gallery™ is an approximately one-hour presentation comprising four separate small productions - both theatre and video art. The performances are held in the basement theatre of Tampere Student Theatre on the following evenings:

Fri 14.8. at 20:00
Sat 15.8. at 18:00
Sat 5.9. at 18:00 + Summer Gallery goes Summer Festival

After the final performance on 5.9., a party will be held with the bar open and music playing (more details to follow).

Video: I Keep My Distance
The video work explores loneliness and longing for connection, leading to boundary-breaking struggle.

Play: The Ripper
The work focuses on the stories of serial killer Jack the Ripper and his victims, jumping between past and present as three actors break the fourth wall and reanalyse the events.
Content warnings: death, sexual violence, references to child death, violence.

Play: Cottage Trip
Cottage Trip is a play about a group of friends' escape, where the city meets the countryside, anxious avoidance meets tension and desire.

The video work examines what traces we leave on empty surfaces.
