Jukka Perko & Jay Kortehisto: Foxtet

Finland's leading jazz musician Jukka Perko - an alumnus of Dizzy Gillespie's orchestra - returns to the swing era with a programme where classic evergreens are sung in Finnish and played in English. The vocalist is Jay Kortehisto, known from the bands Jean S., Ricky Tick Big Band and Sunrise Avenue.

In a traditional jazz formation, Perko and Kortehisto are supported by piano, bass and drums. The music is joyful and at times presented with a playful touch - old-school jazz by the traditional recipe.

Line-up: Jukka Perko (saxophones), Jay Kortehisto (vocals and trombone), Toomas Keski-Säntti (piano), Eero Seppä (bass), Teppo Mäkynen (drums).

The ticket price includes a 3 € service charge. An assistant receives free entry with the person they are assisting on the same ticket. The event is wheelchair accessible, and there is an accessible toilet. There is no wheelchair ramp.
