Women's Peat Sauna Evening

Guided peat bathing for women at Laukaa Tupaswilla. Natural peat contains minerals and humic acids that care for skin and hair, cleanse the body, relax muscles, lower blood pressure, and reduce stress.

The price is 30 euros, including a light supper after the sauna. Payment is made in cash or by bank card on site. Start times are staggered between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM to avoid crowding. Pre-registration is mandatory: [email protected].

Swimming is available in the mineral-rich Vinninlampi lake every sauna evening year-round - you always enter the water with others. Bring a towel, water bottle, and optionally shoes for the dock. Remember to stay well hydrated throughout the day before sauna; water is served on the benches inside. Silence and cleanliness are requested in the sauna and changing rooms - conversation is welcome in the café.

The peat sauna evenings on Mondays 10.8., 7.9., and 9.11. 2026 are silent evenings when no talking occurs in the sauna and changing rooms, and soft music plays in the background. On the September evening, a rune singer performs ancient sauna incantations every half hour between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM - each participant will hear at least one performance.

Peat treatment for the whole body is not suitable for pregnant women, nursing mothers, or those with serious illnesses. In unclear cases, consult a doctor. As a face mask only, peat treatment is suitable for almost everyone.
