Tommy Lindgren Metropolis - Sininen kaupunki Revisited

Tommy Lindgren returns to "Sininen kaupunki" - the album turns 10 years old this year, and the milestone is celebrated in September 2026 with concerts in Helsinki and Tampere. The Tommy Lindgren Metropolis band last performed live in September 2017.

Lindgren is accompanied by the same lineup as on the album: Jarmo Saari (guitars), Teppo Mäkynen (drums) and Abdissa Assefa (bass, percussion, samples). The band is completed by Felix Zenger (harp, samples, beatbox) and Ville Riippa (keyboards). At the anniversary concerts, the album will be performed in full. Upon its release, "Sininen kaupunki" received four stars from publications including Soundi and Aamulehti. The album moves across the boundaries of hip-hop, trip-hop, jazz and indie rock, with themes exploring human relationships, loneliness and belonging. The album also spawned the music video "Haamut" directed by Perttu Saksa, featuring Matti Onnismaa in the lead role.

The ticket price includes a 3 € service fee. If the concert is not sold out, student tickets are sold at the door for 30 € / each before the concert starts - a student ID or other proof of student status is required. School-age children under 18 can also purchase a student ticket at the door if the concert is not sold out in advance. Children below school age get free entry. The concert is all ages.
