Instant Creation - Community Art Evenings

Tsone Helsinki organizes Instant Creation community art evenings featuring 3-4 dancers and a DJ selected through an open call for each event.

The evening is structured so that each dancer first introduces themselves by dancing to a self-chosen song. The audience then writes or draws verbal or visual prompts, which the performers use to build improvised works - first solo, then duo, and finally group prompts. The DJ selects the music on the spot based on the prompts. In the final round, interested audience members can join the performance, and after the performances a brief discussion is opened for audience questions and performers' reflections.

Finally, the DJ continues playing and the dance floor is open to everyone.

All events are outdoor events (weather permitting!), admission is free, and the audience can come and go freely.
