Mika Waltari Literary Walk in Töölö

A literary walk following the footsteps of author Mika Waltari in Töölö: along the route, stories about Waltari and his works are shared at authentic locations. The walk is organized in collaboration with the Mika Waltari Society, and the guide is Risto Raitio, a member of the society's board.

The route is approximately three kilometers long and takes about two hours including guidance. It includes hill climbing and is not wheelchair accessible - additionally, the pace between locations is brisk, so good walking fitness is required. Dress according to the weather, at minimum comfortable walking shoes. Departure from Töölö Library at 14:45.

Participant numbers are limited and advance registration is required. Registration opens on Thursday 30.7.2026 at 08:00 - either by phone at 09 310 85025 or in person at Töölö Library.

The walk is part of Töölö Library's 10-year renovation anniversary celebration.
