Designing Motherhood - Through Service Design

Mothers shape life - but now the relationship with motherhood itself becomes the subject of design.

The workshop takes place during Helsinki Design Week as part of Jonna Mannila's master's thesis, a service design student and artist at Metropolia, I'M YOUR MOTHER - If Mother Were a Service. In the workshop, we conduct a light exercise in which an adult child's relationship with their mother is examined through service design methods. Can the service provided by a mother be improved through design? What would happen if an organically developed relationship were redesigned together with the user - and where can you complain if the service ends without your own notice of termination?

The workshop is intended for everyone who has a mother or already has adult children. The age limit is 18 years. Registration instructions will be published here approximately two weeks before the event.
