Hurmos-sitsit 2026

Hurmos-sitsit is held this year as part of the cultural capital programme and exceptionally on Wednesday 9.9.2026, when university students and student-minded people gather for an academic dinner at Åströminpuisto in central Oulu. An academic table feast, or sitsit, consists of communal singing, speeches, and food and drink. The event is open and free of charge. The event area is K-18.

The official after-party takes place at Viihdemaailma Ilona from 10 pm. Advance tickets for the after-party will go on sale on Kide.app on Wednesday 2.9.2026 at 12 noon.
