Antti Paalanen

Accordionist and vocalist Antti Paalanen performs at Kerubi Sal on Saturday, 26 September. Doors open at 21:00 and Paalanen takes the stage at 22:00. The evening continues at Kerubi until 02:00.

Paalanen released his fifth solo album Haitarimarinadi in late May. The album's cornerstone is the track Takatukka, which finished second in the UKM final, and the single Aerobikki was released on May Day. The versatile album also features more organic Paalanen, such as the focus track Aijaijai. "In the album's framing narrative, an eternal shamanic soul arrives in the present day to wonder what is happening here," Paalanen says about the album.
